What makes Kingston such an incredible community to be a part of is the amount of synergy between businesses. Our local businesses are so great at collaborating and creating amazing opportunities for us Kingstonians!
I’ve mentioned how much I enjoy outdoor yoga and I’ve talked about how much I enjoy all of the efforts of Limestone City Boss Lady, Jehna Duncan with her holistic nutrition and healing shop, SimplyWell. So I am excited to share details about a project that has brought two of Kingston’s local holistic health businesses together. Kelli Rain of Holistic Rain – a company that supports spiritual healing through handmade jewellery (think, mala beads, gemstones) and products (meditation tools) — and Jehna Duncan of SimplyWell have joined forces to create full moon parties for our community held in in the park by Murney Tower under the gazebo.
The first Full Moon Party was so successful they are making it a regular event! “These evenings include yoga, sound healing with a crystal singing bowl meditation, holistic practitioners offering mini healing sessions and herbal tonics, vegan and gluten-free snacks and juices, and a full moon cleansing and release ceremony that helps to heal and support you on your journey,” says Rain.
The next party will be Monday, August 7 between 6-9 pm!
L”Dallas Delahunt, owner of Studio 330, will be leading the yoga class which is suitable for all levels of experience. Dan Deluis, owner of Subramanya Yoga Centre, will perform a crystal singing bowl meditation and Kelli from Holistic Rain will lead you through the full moon release ceremony. Practitioners will be offering pulse readings, psychic readings, and mini massage treatments. The event is designed to leave you feeling rejuvenated, empowered, and
inspired to begin incorporating these healing practices into your daily” adds Rain.
Tickets are available through EventBrite or you can grab them at SimplyWell at 34 Princess Street.
