Hi! Thank you for visiting. To give you a little background, I grew up in Kingston but moved to Toronto around ten years ago for University ( I studied journalism) and to start my career (I worked as an online content editor). I am now back in town with my husband and our two daughters. I’ve always thought that Kingston is one of the most underrated towns. It’s inhabited by wonderfully nice people who never hesitate to smile at you when you pass them on the street, there are plenty of things to do, a long list of amazing restaurants! Plus, Prince Edward County is just a stone’s throw away!
Here you will find my mini-adventures – mostly culinary – in this waterfront town. I like to feature locally-owned establishments. And I curate a Black-owned business list!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Tianna,
I’d love to invite you to our Tourism Mix and Mingle at the new Original Hockey Hall of Fame tomorrow (Thursday, March 3rd) from 4pm to 6pm.
It’s a great place to network with tourism operators and enjoy some good hockey-themed food, as well as visit this new tourism product in the West End of Kingston.

What an amazing article. Im a student entrepreneur at Queens University and have developed an app that finally allows you to get rid of all your point cards at local businesses and simplifies it by aggregating it one app Opprox. Id love to get your feedback on it as we are working with some working with iconic brands in Kingston like Pan Chancho and Chez Piggy and the Mansion. Would be interesting to hear what you think.

Hi! Fellow Kingston blogger here. I stumbled on your page through a tweet – I like your blog a lot! I’m still new to blogging, but if you’d like to collaborate or compare notes at any time, please let me know!
My site is http://www.jessicafoley.ca – take a look. It’s more a Mom’s Lifestyle blog, but with my life being in Kingston, there are local posts too.
Keep up the good work!
