Get Your Butt to Bath for the MacKinnon Brothers’ Beer and Music Festival

Do you like beer? Do you like music? What about food trucks? Last question, do you have plans this Sunday? I’ve got an idea for you! The MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Company (sponsored by 98.9 The Drive) is hosting “Back to the Farm” this Sunday. “Back to the Farm” is the ultimate summer event filled with great beer, great bands and delicious food located at the MacKinnon Brothers’ farm in Bath on County Road 22. That’s too far, you say? Red House realizes it’s a bit of a drive so they’ve sponsored shuttles running from their downtown and west end locations with pick-up times at 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm and drop offs at 9 pm and 10:30 pm. Problem solved!

Time and location: Sunday, August 23, 2pm-10pm, 1915 County Road 22, Bath, Ontario.

How much are tickets?: $20 if you order here in advance or buy them at Brian’s Record Option, The Mansion, Red House, Merchant Tap House or at the MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Co. If you can’t get them beforehand, $25 at the door.

What bands will be there: Kingstown New Mississippi, Goldwing, Torres Project Nubs, Teagan McLaren, Strung Out to Dry, Mojo Shooter, Lost Cousins, Campfire Liars Club.

What to bring:
You will need cash. They also recommend that you bring sunscreen, bug spray and a hat. They also suggest blankets and lawn chairs if you’re so inclined. If you’re not shuttling be sure to bring a designated driver along or plan to cab it.

What not to bring: This is not a sleepover – don’t bring a tent or your pets. This seems obvious but don’t being alcohol.

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder, this is a perfect way to soak in the last days of summer. Hope to see you there!

Keep up with the Mackinnon Brothers: They are on Facebook and Twitter.
